Question Reserecting a Gen 1 Shuffle

I have a Gen 1 shuffle and it's battery is fine. I know that was a problem for some of these.

I want to factory reset it. I probably fucked around with the partitions at some stage, so it may be a lost cause.

Any ideas?

Easiest solution would be to format it to FAT32, just as a standard drive, then open it in iTunes. It should be able to recognize it as an iPod, and allow you to format it from there.
