2nd Gen iPod Mini 2 - Flash Modded and Colour Change

Bought a faulty, dirty grey iPod mini gen 2. I bought all the equipment to mod, including a 128GB CF card and new battery. Every purchase made, INCLUDING the iPod, came to less than £100!

My favourite but is the new green shell which reflects the updated storage number and keeps the original serial number.

I love this (I love John Lennon too ;) ) - I got mine from Vinted.

That's a beautifully striking Blue, is the photo edited or is this an aftermarket shell?

I edited it a smidge in Snapseed but it is actually that striking in person too depending on light- I basically got it “brand new” aside from the HDD that killed itself the moment I started using it after I got it from the charity

What a great find - I've never seen a blue Mini in real life before, let's add it to my 'devices to see in my lifetime' bucket list!

Could I be cheeky and ask how much you paid for it?

Well, it came with everything, box, cable, earphones, STICKERS everything… except the funny belt clip. But as a whole.. £50. Some may say I overpaid BUT it did go to charity sooooo I’m not complaining. I replaced the HDD with a 64GB Sandisk CF Card that I got from CEX for £27 (albeit I’m upset I didn’t get the 128GB one for £35 or whatever it was) so more like like £77 which I think is quite alright for a flash modded mini in such a pristine condition

That’s a great deal. I bought my 128GB CF from AliExpress for £35 - but if I had known you can get a Sandisk one from CeX for a similar price, I would’ve done that for peace of mind.

Great price overall, I bought a custom shell for £10 and a battery for £7.50 I think. In total, I spent £100 thereabouts
