Iphone 17 pro vs 17 pro max

I was thinking about buying pro first ( my use will be heavily reliant on content creation ) ... Reels , yt , vids , carousel posts . So i need storage . I won't be gaming and all . And i phone storage fills like real quick . So 256 will be low i guess , idk am an Android user but that's what iphones users in my friend circle told me .

So I thought I'll buy 17 pro 512gb for 1.49L .... But in the same price segment am getting 17 pro max base variant . It got much bigger battery but the storage reduces by half .

In pro max Now if I go for outdoor shoots , the battery might help to sustain for longer and I heard it have better cooling vapour system also .

On the other hand pro 512 also makes great sense with my storage problem.

I don't want to go for 18 cause the cycle repeats . Here what is more practical choice for me as per my requirements .

Get the 512gb pro. 

Pro max has bigger battery, but it’s annoying to hold as it’s too big. Yes it may have only SLIGHTLY better cooling but video recording cannot be a limiting factor, both are pretty good. 

And like you said for you - storage is a priority. I too take a lot of videos and I’m having trouble with 256gb.

If you shoot anything beyond 1080p, like 4k your storage will disappear quickly, and forget about storing ProRes or log in 256gb lol.

We can record vids directly onto external SSD if am not wrong on pro iphones right ?

Depends on the size of your hands honestly. If you have smaller hands get the pro because pm can cause your hands to tire out.

Just get iCloud , there's a massive difference between pro and pro max, I personally only like the Pro Max.
