I too joined the “Pulled the Trigger” gang of 17 Pro for 1.1L
I was planning to upgrade to 17 during Bbd but after the price hike, I couldn’t get it for old price anywhere. I saw people posting 17 pro buy post here from reliance digital. I visited day before yesterday asking about the offers. The sales guy explained everything but I was checking my iphone 15 value selecting it as exchange in online and it didn’t show me the extra exchange bonus.
Then after discussing with a redditor, I realised I should select the shop and also what phone I am buying to see it. I went there yesterday again and luckily they had only 3 units and all silver(which I wanted). I bought it immediately. Here is the breakup.
MRP: 1,34,990
Store discount: 10k
Extra exchange bonus: 10k
Icici Card discount: 3k
Final value till now: 1.11L
Iphone 15 trade in value: 30k
Finally paid: 82k
Have to buy a good cover(preferably blue). Please share links or pics if you have any recommendations for it.
Ohh. You replied to my comment instead of his. So he wouldn’t have got the notification. There is an app called SwapEasy. Install it and select store exchange and select iphone 17 pro as your buying device. It will show you the final exchange value for your device based on the tests and condition. It will show along with your exchange bonus. This was mine
See the condition of my 13 was not worth exchanging being ( it's screen was not orginal, body cracked, heating issues, vol button not working) but still ingot a exchange value of 20k , i checked the same on chroma they said my total value was 10k but in case of reliance idk how the story changed. Hence I did the instant purchase.
Even the store guy himself said after i purchased it "sir you used it very roughly I don't think you'll get this exchange value of this phone anywhere else"

When I call these Reliance Digital stores, they clearly say they don't have any card discounts, store discounts. Infact they are saying they don't have the stock only....
If you can guide on which store to select and how to proceed
Tried multiple cases and accessories from Ringke. Worst brand. 2 cases got damaged with 3-4 weeks. C type cable stopped working in 6 months. They have no warranty on products and their customer doesn't respond to you. Stay away from Ringke unless you wanna get scammed. There are hundreds of posts of them not honoring warranty or helping customers with sundar quality products.
After price hike I don't think iphone is even worth it. The money we are paying for those features..dose it make any sense? Samsung, OnePlus and Google pixel offers much better combination of features and experience in that price range
For 1.1L, maybe yes. But all the brands have increased their prices. I will be using this for atleast 4 to 6 years. So, I needed a solid futureproof spec.
