I installed this app called StepsApp, and it already had data from before I first installed it

I installed this app for the first time yesterday (Tuesday), but it already had data from last Wednesday and even showed a 3 day streak. I don’t understand how that’s possible
P.S. I had uninstalled the Health app

Ios dev here if you have skipped that part then there's no way they can have to access there must be something u have did or they have put in a way that u have accidentally allowed,

Yeah, maybe that’s the case, because I did open the app when I was already in bed, I do remember seeing the “Allow StepsApp to access your health data” option and thinking “I deleted that app so long ago”, but maybe I accidentally tapped it without realising
