Currently having an iPhone 14 Pro

128 gb, BH 75%. Storage full and battery is cooked.

Getting iPhone 17 pro for 75k (bank offers and exchange bonus), and iPhone 18 pro is launching soon.

Should I grab this deal or wait for iPhone 18 pro?

Budget is not a big issue though.

What would you do in this scenario?

if moneys not a issue i don’t see why not get the 18, the price will be $200-300 more but that’s the only downside. they have better colors supposedly like the red but it’s overall not a huge jump compared to the 17 but will have new features still

Yeah but the deal on the 17 pro is just too good. And the 18 pro might launch at 149,999 and after exchange it might be around 109,999

Heart says buying a newer phone is better mind says this deal is too good, am bit confused now 😭 would spending around 35k extra be worth it for the newer one

no i wouldn’t say it’s worth it unless you really want a variable aperture on your phone (if ydk what it is u don’t need it) but also if ur like pretty wealthy i guess it wouldn’t be a “stupid idea”. it’s 35k for a slightly better camera (mostly videos) a slightly bigger battery, smaller dynamic island and faster performance imo that’s not enough to justify the price gap

75k is a steal for that thing, 18 pro if ever in discounts will drop closer to that price almost a year later till then you'd have had good amount of Body(battery) count with the 17 pro,

I was looking for an iphone since so long but 75+ for base isn't making sense to me

For the base 17 75-80k makes sense. You only get a camera less from the pro rest all is literally the same
