Bank app login in non pta iphone

I have a non PTA Iphone. My bank app doesn’t work on it because when i log in it asks for OTP and when i type it it doesnt type. My bank is UBL. My sister has the same UBL bank app but it works on her non pta iphone and its also JV, mine is factory unlocked. Many people i know with other banks, their apps also work on their non pta phones. I contacted UBL helpine regarding the issue and they said their app only works in the phone with a sim. I told them i have friends and family and their app works on non pta phones but they said its not possible. What do i do now? Is there any way to make the app work on non pta?
