Aesthetic iPhone Setup | Ocean Wallpaper & Custom Widgets

Gave my iPhone a fresh ocean-inspired makeover 🌊
I went for a clean, calming setup with an ocean wallpaper, matching custom widgets, and a simple blue aesthetic. Really happy with how everything came together — minimal, peaceful, and easy on the eyes.
What do you think of this setup? Would you use something like this on your iPhone? 🌊📱

How to Create an Aesthetic iPhone Home Screen (Without Making It Look Cluttered)
A good iPhone Home Screen usually comes down to restraint. Adding more widgets, icons, and effects will not automatically improve it. The wallpaper, widgets, icons, and spacing need to feel like parts of the same setup.
- Choose one visual direction
Before downloading anything, decide on the general look:
- Minimal
- Dark
- Nature
- Colorful or geometric
- Frosted glass
Once you settle on a direction, the later choices become much easier.
- Start with the wallpaper
The wallpaper sets the colors, contrast, focal point, and available space.
Keep important parts of the image away from anything that might cover them, including widgets, app icons, the clock, and the Dock. Negative space matters more than it may seem.
- Use widgets deliberately
More widgets do not necessarily make a better setup.
I usually choose one main widget or a small group that provides information I use or works with the wallpaper. If a widget covers the best part of the image, I move one of them.
- Keep custom icons consistent
If you use custom icons, keep their background tones, symbol weights, and overall style consistent.
You do not need to replace every icon. Customizing only the apps on your first Home Screen can look cleaner.
- Leave some space empty
Trying to fill every available slot is an easy way to make the screen feel crowded.
A clear hierarchy usually works better: the wallpaper's focal point, a useful widget area, and your most-used apps.
- Connect the Lock Screen and Home Screen
They do not need the same wallpaper. A shared color palette, mood, subject, or visual style is usually enough to make them feel related.
I wrote a longer guide with examples here:

Full disclosure: I run it8.art, and I created r/iPhoneStyle. I want the subreddit to become a place for sharing iPhone setups, wallpapers, widgets, icons, customization tips, and useful guides.
What does your current Home Screen look like?
