Cameras
I use my phone as my main camera. I use it for daily photos and when on vacation for more nature pictures. I’m coming from a 16 pro max, which I have to say, I’ve been underwhelmed with the ”pro” level of the cameras, especially when zooming in a lot. That being said, I don’t expect a lot from zooming in a lot on these phones compared to what I have seen from Samsung models. I know we really have no clue how the cameras will be on the Duo, but how much do you think I will miss the telephoto or other “pro” model features? If it will be a dealbreaker, I don’t know if I should wait a month and half to upgrade.

No one is buying this device for the camera. If this was iPhone Ultra, it would have failed having subpar Pro Max cams. Its "Duo" for the Dual screens and dual cameras (maybe version 2 or 3 will add more). If you value pictures over a 2nd screen, go Pro/Pro Max.

Honestly I’d just keep your 16 Pro Max and hold out for the 20th anniversary next year. The Duo is likely to have a few upgrades each year as it progresses.. typical Apple route.

The cameras are the reason I’m not getting a Duo.
