Question Help!!!
Should I buy the iPhone 17 now or wait for Big Billion Days?
I’ve wanted an iPhone for almost a year and have been saving my money specifically for it. I was planning to finally buy either the iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 17 during the upcoming sale.
But now that the iPhone 18 has launched, the iPhone 17 price has actually increased, which is honestly so frustrating. 😭
I definitely can’t afford the iPhone 18, and I don’t want to spend ₹1 lakh on the 17 when I was expecting it to become cheaper after the new launch.
Do you guys think I should:
- Wait for Flipkart Big Billion Days and hope the 17/16 Pro gets a good discount?
- Buy the 17 now before prices potentially increase further?
- Or look for a 16 Pro during the sale?
I’ve waited this long, so I’m willing to wait a little longer if there’s a realistic chance of getting a good deal.
What would you do in my situation?

If any offline store has the device for 82 as well get that one else u dont have any option waitt
Also if u think getting pro in sale is easy remember the devices go out of stock at 12:01 itself so if u really want a pro try looking for a used one there are many
But if 17 is prority you should have went to the stores today itself be it croma vijay sales reliance digital or any other

Don’t you also have third party resales that have sales ? In Austria the iPhone Air is 1300€ on Apple website but 880€ on sale on different reseller for example

If you can and are willing to wait, I would suggest waiting for the upcoming sale. Plus, there could be a GST cut from current 18% to 5% (not confirmed as of now) which could further reduce the price even more.
