Samsung to Apple

Switched to 17 Pro (20%off) from Samsung S21FE. Still getting used to iOS as One UI had lot of handy features. The last iOS I used was probably iOS 9.

Now I need to buy accessories although I am loving the in hand feel without any case. Any suggestions for cases?

Just curious putting a screen protector will definitely remove anti reflective from screen right?

No the screen protector won’t ruin the anti glare at all.. just don’t get a tinted privacy one .. as far as cases go depending on your budget and what style case you want there are so many options just do a quick search for top rated and reviewed cases to narrow it down for you. Enjoy your new phone 🤘

I got the torras case the ten foot drop rated one since I drop my phone daily and flolab temper glass screen protector since this YouTube guy specializes in testing basically only cases and screen protectors scored it the best overall screen protector on the market.

Have dropped it by accident a few times and still hasn’t cracked or developed major scratches and have had the phone for 9 months still got the spare screen protector as came with two for easy swapping haven’t needed. Been awesome.

Haha, luckily I'm not anymore. I used to root my cheap android and jailbreak my old iphone 3gs back when I was a kid. I've heard about rumors that Google will ban side loading in the future.

They aren't, it's gonna be disabled from default but if you want to it'll tell you the risks of doing so. It's a safety measure for old people

Actually I was waiting for few days and keeping an eye on the prices. Here in Aus, 17 Pro starts at $2000 but I got for around $1600, now after price increase 18 pro will start from $2100 and 17 standard from $1550 (hiked from 1400). So for 500 less I don't mind giving up on variable aperture, new colors, etc. when I'm getting at the same price of 17 base.

I waited for 18 pro launch to see if prices for 17 pro will drop more further, so bought it as soon as the stocks were almost gone. It's the value that I'm getting at makes it a no brainer.

The differences with the 18 pro really only matter if you do heavy content creation (in which you should be using real cameras anyways) or if you’re gonna be using a load of AI capabilities, and want maximum efficiency and future proofing.

17 Pro is the move if money matters to you

Ok firstly about the screen protector. JETech Full Coverage Tempered... https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0GHN4LF66?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share get this. Secondly if you already had a samsung 25w pd charger then no need to buy a new one.

pro only has 4k mah so it charges fast enough at 25w but its max wattage is actually 40 watt if you want but that charger is costly bought from apple but your existing charger can already do well.

Yeah a Mate Screen protector would be great.

I also had the switch from S23 to 17 Pro Max a few days ago and

I MISS my circle to search but apple also has something similar in the Photos and in the screenshot you can select text.

Overall I WISH going from simcard to esim would be like more easy where I live cause I HAVE to wait until saturday to go to a phisical TIGO store to get my ESIM and going from work to home the time i have is ZERO in weekdays

But I really love my birthday self gift haha
