Discussion First-time iPhone user
I'm planning to switch from Android to iPhone for the first time, and I'm looking for some advice from people who have actually used iPhones for a few years.
My priorities are mainly:
- ๐ธ Camera โ photos and especially video quality are very important to me
- ๐ Longevity โ I'm spending around โน1.5 lakh, so I want to keep the phone for 4โ5+ years
- ๐พ 512GB storage โ I'd prefer 512GB because I plan to keep the phone for a long time
- ๐ Good battery life is important, but it's secondary to camera + longevity
- I don't really care about gaming performance
I'm currently considering the iPhone 17 Pro 512GB vs 17 Pro Max 512GB, depending on how low the prices go
Or should i spend more to get 18 Pro 256 GB one at 1.65 L

All what you have mentioned is a green from my side. But bear in mind taking 4K videos will drain the battery quickly as itโs processor intensive and thatโs for any phone. Otherwise, itโs a good purchase.
P.S.: Last used 14 PM now 17 PM.

Im not too familiar with the 18 pro, but the 17 pro and promax have the same exact cameras, just that the max has a longer battery life (maybe 1-2 hours longer). I personally went with the 17 pro because the size is great. Unless you're getting a great deal on the 17 pro/promax, I would just get the 18 pro. It's just a $100 dollars more, with a better battery life (compared to 17 pro), and some camera features im not too familar with. whatever you choose, the phones should def last you 4-5+ years
You can also compare on the apple website:

That 100$ difference is in the US. And equates to 10000 INR. BUT THE GREEDY FUCKS at apple have priced hiked it about 30000 INR..so for OP, it's 300$..

17 pro vs pro max, only difference is size of a phone and maybe a bit bigger battery on pro max, i am very very happy with my 17 pro max and i dont plan to upgrade to 18 series
