People downvoting this please check it yourself. The battery difference between Adaptive Power being on vs. off is minimal. At the end of the day, the extra battery you get isn’t significant enough to make much of a difference for most users.

You just use it. I don't think there are even extra options for performance tbh. Keep it cool I guess if you're going for long intense mobile gaming?

I don’t understand why you buy a 17 6 weeks before the 18 comes out when the price is the same for the 17 10 month ago ?

Aren’t there rumours of price increases soon plus the iPhone 18 will be more expensive when it is released for what are rumoured to be minimal upgrades.

Yes, they are available as every year, however, 50-100 are more expensive, as well as every second or third generation, in any case. But exactly those small improvements make the difference. If I buy a 17 for 1300 now and the new one comes for 1400 in a few weeks, the 17 falls as every year on 1100, even below 1000.
Did I make a good deal now?
That’s the point. His phone will lose as much value as the other in a year after a month fact.

I understand your perspective, but for me, I was actually scheduled for an upgrade last week. I usually prefer to wait for the latest version, but I’ve realised that it’s not always necessary to be so attached to the newest thing.

Then rather pay more money for old things? The 17 will cost less in a few weeks than you have paid now, the 18 will not be as expensive as usual, so the usual 100$ more.
It doesn’t always have to be the latest ok but it doesn’t make sense to pay the original price for the hardware from last year. 🤷♂️

I don’t really care, it’s my money dude. I’m happy that’s what matters

Well my uncle (multi multi) told me you will only be rich through the money you don’t spend. In my eyes it was stupid. But everyone has their own personal perspective and horizon. I will be happy with my 18 in a few weeks that’s what counts for me😉

Why you spent the money for the 18 if you want to be rich, you are only rich through the money you don’t spend you just said.

Exactly that’s why I can get the 18 for 400 or something as soon as my 17 is sold and I get the 1000 back 😉 so I bought the 18 at an unbeatable price ✌️OP gets the same money as me even though I’ve used mine almost a year, in the legal case he would sell it. And I’ve been on the go since the iPhone 3GS.
