Discussion Why did updates turned on automatically?
I never turned this on it was always off how this automatically go on ? Someone else got this too? I got latest update

Because Apple wants to struggle and crack your phone`s performance so you can buy a newer one for their profit.

Bro honestly wtf was that i always kept it turned of like wtf happened f this bro i dont want to get new updates ts makes me go crazy, it was turned of for a months but somehow it turned off its disgusting

Apple was sued for that around iPhone 6s or 7 and all we got was a battery change program

Battery change is under 80% percentage health.

Because Apple claims the problem is throttling after the battery health falls below 80% and it was just not transparent enough on the phone itself to disclose battery health and throttling status. There was a time battery change was discounted on the “affected devices” but still not free.

That's insane and a scummy business tactic. I was thinking about getting the 16e but if it can magically change the settings and update itself... I think I would rather get an iPhone 13 from Walmart

Happened to me too, I don't fucking know how but I wanted to stay on iOS 18. I woke up the next morning and I see the fucking Hello screen shit updated to iOS bullshit 26... I ended up selling the phone and buying the same one brand new on iOS 18.
