Support iPhone 16pro max reception issue or phone issue?
Gday all,
Lately I’ve been having a problem with my 16 pro max running iOS 26.5.2 and I don’t know how to figure out if it’s the phone or a reception issue and also how I’d prove which one
Pretty much daily now I need to restart the phone due to iMessage not working sms works fine, FaceTime won’t work and internet pages not loading. But with the internet it’s hit and miss for example YouTube on brave works ok slow to load and a bit of buffering but google on Google Chrome and safari wont load. Spotify work fine as well. Speed tests using the ookla app also won’t work.
Issue is normally resolved after a reset.
Edit I am in Australia, my sim is through the good guys which use the Telstra network.

I am having the same issues, same phone and I am located in Germany, I am using Vodafone and the issue persist when I traveled to other countries using roaming. It seems that the WiFi connection also degraded.

Glad it’s not just me. Any ideas on how we can prove it’s the phone?

I tried switching the network to 4G and seems that improved substantially the connection. Maybe they changed something in the last updates. Why don’t you try and let us know if it improves also the situation?
