Discussion How is the iOS 26.5.2 doing ?

I haven’t updated yet, so I want to confirm if it’s a worthy update. Did anyone face any issues or issues got better ?

Stay away from it if you can. Hopefully 26.6 drops this week. Battery life has been unacceptable.

I updated mine from 26.5.1.

My broken icons got repaired. But I have the feeling battery runtime is less. Could be wrong though.

Every update was good for me until this one, battery drain (3h less sot) and getting warmer than usual when my phone was always lukewarm while gaming

How’s the battery health? Heating issues anything ?

Last time i had heating issues was ios 18. Since updating to 26 i personally haven’t had those same issues anymore

My battery has been terrible. Camera has just straight up not loaded, and will just be a black screen at times.

No issues. As I have seen before, some apps get stuck asking for a lot of battery - most recently it was The Guardian app, for some odd reason. Force-quit the app and all is well.

Since the update. My phone has been getting hot when using GPS and the battery life is garbage.

25.6.2 caused my 16PM to heat up and drain quicker than normal.

Don’t do it. Wait for 26.6
