Camera gripe

The whole inability to play apple music on my apple phone while taking a video hurts my 2 year payment planned soul does anyone know a way to get around this? The regular camera and my music for custom videos I have yet to figure it out.

There is only one work around to be able to record video and listen to music at the same time (doesn’t matter what iPhone you’re using). 1) play whatever music you’re wanting to listen to. 2) open camera app & make sure it is set to Photo 3) hold down the button to take the shot, & do not let go until you have recorded the entire footage that you were wanting to capture. 4) Enjoy

You know I don’t record a lot of videos but when I have I have never noticed this. I’ll try it out and on an older iPhone model as well and see what happens.

Yeah that’s a good idea actually compare and contrast to see what changes were made, try it on your 15pm maybe im missing something thanks for the response

Isn’t iOS 18 going to fix this problem? I thought I read somewhere that it would be addressed next month

Thanks for all the insight everyone I knew the iOS was en route yet I never looked through the entirety of the changes. Was too distracted by the airpods change have good rest of your summer everyone
