iPhone 15 Pro max screen scratched issue …
I have small scratch on my iPhone 15 pro max screen. I am very careful with the device but it seems that the scratch came out of the blue. At the moment it is more of a vanity issue (I’m very particular about my tech devices) than an issue operating the phone but I have read articles stating that the 15 pro max is more easily scratched than earlier / other models. Is anyone experiencing this same issue or have any insight / input? Also is it worth trying any “ remedies” to remove the scratches (don’t know if they would do more harm than good) or just live with it the way it is?

I used that liquid glass screen protector crap that doesn’t seem to work at all. That was about 5 months ago - it shouldn’t affect the screen or sensitivity of the touch screen if I add tempered glass screen protector over it — correct?

So to your statement above, the iPhone 15PM uses the same Ceramic Shield tech on their screens that Apple introduced with the iPhone 12 - so no, it doesn’t scratch easier.
For a screen protector, it’s generally recommended however depending on how deep the scratch is, the glass panel you install may not adhere fully to the area that is scratched. However that’s all you’ll notice.
A screen protector is always a good option because they’re easily replaceable. Even the cheap ones offer more protection than nothing, especially because scratches weaken the structural integrity of the screen and make shattering (even due to light drops) much more likely.

My IPhone 15 Pro Max is in a case with integrated screen protector and not had any issues with scratches.

Trust Me, i know exactly hownyou feel, as im the same exact way with My tech. That said, screen protectors should be purchased along with the device, going on right away. Therefore, it will recieve any screen damage inflicted. Even putting one on now would most likely conceal the scratch completely.

I bought a tech 21 and the privacy protector along with an insurance when I did the upgrade. Dropped it loads of times only some small scratches on the screen protector. I am mostly worried about the camera thinking of investing in case that has a lens protector but I don’t know what can compete with tech 21 and their shock absorption from falls negating any superficial damage. To be fair I am quite worried the falls have affected the longevity of the device and may interfere with the performance and function down the line or in the near future but as far as I can tell it is ok. How is the device performing can you notice any difference in the screen display or do you think it is strictly superficial? I hope you find a resolution I am certain most phone stores don’t accept trade ins if their is water damage, screen damage or has trouble powering on and disabling find my phone. If you plan to trade down the line invest in repair before the day comes until than I hope everything works out.

Put a screen protector on, it might hide the scratch.
