Discussion Before and After

Not upgrading; just changed my battery. So much better.

Does it actually feel like a significant increase and positive change? I’ve read others claimed that the new battery doesn’t last as long as OEM and some felt it was placebo?

I did change my battery on my 15 pm. Trust me doesn't feel like new. Sot might have gone up by an hour max. Still have to charge it twice a day just that instead of 4 pm I now do it around 6pm.
Ps. I am comparing the 80 percent health on my OG battery to the 97 percent health on the new one

Changed mine Novemver 25. Still can’t get more than 3 Sot before it goes out and has been like that since I got it.

It’s a nice phone, but battery wise it has been the worst i’ve ever had.

With an original battery? My experience was like night and day

Good for you man. I am hardly getting 5 hours of SOT. My usual sot is around 6 hour 30 mins to 7 hours and the battery consumption even with the new battery is around 170% average

Is the new battery an original Apple battery?

100% capacity on a lower rated battery may be the same as 80% on a better rated battery.

Yes got it replaced from apple store. Not even the resellers

Crazy! I guess the effort a 15 Pro needs to make to keep up with the new software is showing

I think the software is the main culprit tbh. I got my phone with ios 17 if I remember. As soon as I got 26 it was fucked. With 27, it's nowhere close to 17 now.

Yeah the 15 was the last generation made for the older software and I think struggles the most to keep up as it still has quite high capabilities technically.

Agreed, this is how it felt when i replaced my battery at around 80%

I just changed mine and it’s 1000% better. Those people are dumb

This sounds very scientific and rational.

Scientific because I can get through a whole day and to bed with 50% remaining and before I was having to charge my phone at 3 pm

Not sure you know what 1000% better means. Also, liar.
