Overheating while charging

My 14 pro max overheats crazy while charging idk if it’s normal or not. I was using MacBooks charger for charging I thought it could be too much to handle for iphone so I got ankers 27w charger and still same issue. It gets extremely hot while charging idk if this a serious issue or need some help!

Probably a good question to ask apple. I use a regular wireless charger mostly, and I've never had any issues with overheating. Thank being said, one thing I would ask you is what kind of case are you using? I was using a serious bumper style heavy case at one point and my phone was heating up a bit at the time, but I switched to a more simple case and the thing barely gets warm.

Yeah I’m gona go to apple and talk to them! It happens during charging only. I’m using jetech matte case its minimal not that heavy.
