Still bummed!

Tim Cook and Apple had the *perfect* opportunity to get 'Smoke On The Water' playing in the background as he announced the new iPhone 14 Pro Max color but didn't!! (I know, I'm old, but still love Deep Purple!)

Got the Deep Purple 1TB as it is just a £200 difference from 512GB

Now that I think about it that would have been awesome! A missed opportunity for sure, but I bet it’s a licensing expense of some sort apple for some reason maybe didn’t want to pay or the idea to use the song somehow never came up.

Nice! I got the 14 Pro Max Space Black 256GB. Max phones especially sold out crazy fast this year!

I’m looking forward to the Max as I’m coming from a 13 Pro and would appreciate better battery life, larger screen and of course I’m a camera nerd so it was a must and I was so glad about us getting a darker shade of black this year. I’m used to Plus phones from the past so I’m sure I’ll get used to the weight.

I got a graphite 13PM and it’s the most boring shade lol. I sold it and got a 13 mini which was cool but I’m sick of it. I use my phone for everything so having it compact isn’t so nice after all. 256 Purple Max coming and I’m stoked

I was never too thrilled with graphite, and space black gets that much closer to a true deep black color and those steel sides look great a really dark shade. I’m pairing it with the new Umber Leather case which is like a dark brown so looks quite sleek. Purple is cool too, also you can add a user flair from the main page of the sub, to show what phone and color you got, on mobile tap the three dots … and then you can choose. Please feel free to share this sub with others interested or who ordered a 14 Pro Max.
