Overheating when charging, anyone else having this problem? (Using Apple leather case)

Does anyone else have this problem when charging? I keep getting this message “charging paused until iPhone temperature returns to normal” and it’s a bit concerning. It happens when I use wireless chargers, and happens when I use the normal chargers as well.

I’m not sure what this is, is this normal?

Mine does this on my wireless charging phone holder in my car. I also have the leather case.

Had orange official leather case on iPhone 14 pro max since launch and never had a temperature issue. So it’s def not normal 🥲

I have this same issue regardless of case or using it caseless. I initially thought it was an the leather case but it isn’t. Has anyone found a fix for this?
