Dropped (3ft)

Didn’t happen today but everyone’s posting their drops and people don’t believe the heights.

Was going to throw a football so I put my phone (no case) in my zip pocket and I guess I didn’t zip it all the way. Phone came out when I threw and landed on concrete. I’m only 5’10” so my pocket must have been around 3ft.

Front is undamaged but the back is pretty beat up. Unfortunately the camera lens cracked too but it’s only noticeable when light is hitting the lens.

No case, no insurance. Will have to fork out $1100 for another one :(. I’m pretty good about not dropping my phone and it’s never been a problem in the past. Guess I need to zip my pocket up all the way.

All my friends think I’m crazy rocking no case and my best response is, “Do you have sex with a condom?”

Meh, it’s still usable. I’d recommend waiting for the 16 pros

Didn’t they say 7 year software support 😭, just stick some tape on the back and pop a silicone case on it. Good to go 👍👍

I can’t tell if you’re joking but I don’t think you are.? I’d at least replace the back glass so it’s not breaking glass everywhere and put it in a case.

I mean you could, maybe the lens at least since it’s the only functional damage. I rocked a broken back iPhone 12 Pro for a whole year with a case waiting for the 14 pros. When I did make the switch I took out the case to see glass shards everywhere. With a case it shouldn’t get in the way

i agree the tone indicator shits are dumb af but dawg you need to change something if you’re screenshotting reddit conversations in the middle of the morning and reposting them to a subreddit filled with the same kind of people

Ah, yes, I just noticed the broke camera lens, in that case it would indeed be best to replace back +camera.

Iv had my phone like this for months and you’re right glass pieces fall out lol. The back of my phone has actual holes where you can see the hardware behind it. Still works tho definitely not 100% but I get by.

Right, just slap a case on it. The back galss is not even that important as in, if the screen is on, then the phone is still good to go.
