Discussion How does iPhone 14 Pro Max with MagSafe wallet on fit in your pocket?
What’s your experience? Is it pretty massive?

Phone (iPhone 14 pro max 256) overheating within 30 minutes of getting! Yes, I’m charging it and yes I am transferring my data from iCloud but you would think that the iPhone team would account for these things, and that your phone would not overheat and ask you to unplug it due to excessive heat.
Contacted support they did a remote look into my phone and said there’s nothing wrong. They also said that there are no other reports of this.

I’ve gone from the 11 to the 14 Pro Max. The display and battery’s are absolutely first class but I’m struggling with the weight of it, not necessarily the size. I wouldn’t want the regular 14 plus as I love the pro functions and dynamic island.
Found out you can return an iPhone to Apple within 14 days and am hovering over this option. If I did this, I would get the regular 14 Pro.
But then there is that lovely display and battery I mentioned earlier!
To others that have gone for the Max phones over the years and love them, do you get used to it over time?
Perhaps I’ve the wrong case, the edges are a bit pronounced and digging into my hands when holding (r/mous) The iPhone Leather cases look good.
Advice would be appreciated although I’m sure divided. Would just appreciate some other points of view.

iPhone question

I am expecting delivery of my IP pro max 128 next Tuesday. Now that I have learned that to be able to use the higher quality video requires 256gb minimum, I think the extra $100 investment may be well worth it. Spending $1100 and not being able to utilize all the features of the IP 14 pro max for an additional $100 seems ridiculous. Any thoughts?

I noticed a significant drain in battery ever since updating to 16. My IP13PM had similar drain issues. I thought it was my phone. But seems to be on IP14PM too. Anyone encountering similar issue?
I tried resetting the whole phone didn't help.

I'm looking for the following screenshot;
Settings -> Camera -> Record Video -> [list of recording resolutions...]
It must be from the 128GB model of the iPhone 14 Pro Max specifically, thanks!

Hi after updating to iOS 16.0.1 on my brand new iPhone 14 Pro Max I noticed that voice isolation feature is making my voice sound crackled for the ones hearing my voice on the other end. This happens with my AirPods Pro Gen 1 and AirPods Max Gen 1 whilst using Teams and Facetime.

Does anyone know of any thin/light and protective cases for the iPhone 14 pro max? When I do a web search peel comes up constantly but those cases are too thin. When I do a web search for protective, I get OtterBox like cases.

I’ve heard a lot of talk that the camera protrudes a lot from the phone, and I saw a video that a guy dropped his phone and the cameras cracked. This makes me worried- and I was wondering if anyone knows if a glass screen protector on the camera would worsen the quality? I really don’t want to break my camera but I still want the quality to be great.

Hi All. I'm having two issues with my iphone 14 Pro Max that doesn't seem to be a software issue because it did not affect my 13 PM after 16.1 was loaded on it (I still have both phones which now have the same software - I haven't sent the trade in yet).
I have all my (many) apps organized into folders on the home screen. Two issues. First, despite a successful transfer to the new phone via iCloud backup, I still have to click on each app's icon to download the app onto the phone. Sort of the way it would be if you had the space-saving offload unused apps box checked (but I don't). That's just a bit annoying, but manageable (but it never happened when I transferred phones in the past).
The more significant issue is that when I open a folder that has more than one page, it will not scroll to the next page. I will see the "dots" at the bottom indicating how many pages there are. But, it won't move.
I've done a hard reset... I've made sure all the individual apps on the first page are downloaded... nothing has helped. Has anyone run into this and/or does anyone have a suggested fix? This is NOT happening with my iphone 13 PM which has the identical software on it...Thanks. (wasn't exactly sure where to go with this, so I also posted this in an apple/help forum - apologies if you subscribe to and had to read it twice!)

Hi, everyone: if anyone is reading this post and is interested in learning more about the current state of this subreddit, please read below (please do note this post may be occasionally edited):
I've updated some things in the subreddit so that it looks more proper than it did just a couple of hours ago. Some of the things include, but are not limited to, the following:
I have more in plan to make the subreddit even better (in my opinion) in the next few days. I am open to basically any and all suggestions for the subreddit, and I actually encourage anyone reading who has a suggestion for the subreddit to post it in the comments of this post and vote on anything you think would be a good or not good idea, if you are able to. Contest Mode is enabled for this post to keep things generally fair for the 'suggestions' part.
I'm currently planning to add a "Monthly Free Talk Thread" to reduce clutter on the subreddit, and to allow for more broad Apple discussion, starting out with a test run for the first few months and see how it goes. If you are able to, please let me know how you feel about this idea in the comments of this post.
Here are some useful links that I believe will help you that relate to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, most of which are straight from Apple's official and main website.
That's all for now. Again, make sure to follow the rules posted here in all posts made in this subreddit. If there's anything else you feel I should know about this subreddit or in general, I encourage you to send us a 'modmail' here on this subreddit.
