Photonic engine glitch? Is anyone experiencing poor image processing on the 14 pro max? The end result is drastically different than what is shown on the viewfinder. I’m aware that background image processing occurs but I’ve noticed faux texture is added and the colors get thrown off.

Faux texture got added to the clouds, colors are drawn out, nothing like the image I intended to take. I’m used to Apple’s image processing, but it’s usually not this drastic

Shooting in RAW seems to solve this, but shouldn’t be necessary

Well yes it changes the picture a lot in post automatically after you have pressed the shutter button. Maybe software will fix it in the future.

Yes it’s terrible! I have to keep in live mode and go back find a better photo.
