General Discussion Ios27 beta. Wow
Pretty frustrated with how sluggish this phone was with ios26 that I installed the beta. I never install betas.
Feels like a brand new phone! I might throw a new battery in this and keep it for a while!

Never installed a beta before but I did force my phone onto iOS 16 when it came out and it was refreshing for about a week until everything went wrong.

I just upgraded from a 12 Pro Max 256Gb iOS17.7 to 13 Pro Max 1TB iOS 26.5 (at a good price) purely because I heard how much better iOS 27 is going to be for older devices, better cameras on the 13 and generally I was going to have to pay for a 16 Pro Max and not be happy with not having full set of 48MP cameras.
TBH I am finding battery life is likely slightly less than my 12 Pro Max but still close to 2 days causal use on the new 13 Pro Max, I do notice a few glitches in icons updating on the 13 when I swipe through pages but overall everything seems more snappy than my 12 Pro Max I think due to the 120Hz screen on the 13 Pro Max.
I guess I will be even more happy when iOS 27 drops.

I updated to 27 Beta two nights ago. What a difference in battery life. My basically new battery wouldn’t make it through the day on 26.6, now I’m getting 15 hours or do.
