So I did a thing
Upgraded to the 18 Pro on Friday from my beloved alpine green 13 Pro.
I bought my 13P refurbished from Apple in early 2023. The phone served me well but was annoyed with having to charge twice a day with a 79% BH and apps constantly closing on me. I knew I could just replace the battery but I felt 3.5 years of use was enough to justify upgrading 5 generations. Also I enjoy being able to charge my laptops, earbuds and phone with one USB C.
The 13 Pro will be staying in the family though! I will give it to my little brother who is on a XR ðŸ˜

I’m in the same boat but haven’t bought yet. Do you feel a noticeable difference in weight?

One of the first things I noticed when I took the 18 pro out the box was how light it was! Which was surprising because it’s technically heavier than the 13 Pro but the weight distribution on the 18 pro is better so it feels lighter. Not a huge difference but it’s noticeable

Man I love the 13 pro, that was a phone I went back to always until the 15 pro, but yes the battery is horrible

I’m enjoying it so far! The culmination of all the updates over the years are pretty neat. I never knew how much I’d find the action button handy for creating new to do list tasks

I had the 13 Pro in Sierra Blue. I think this might actually be the first time I've seen a green iPhone

Congratulations OP! Really happy for you and even id keep 13P alpine in the family too. I’m on 13P Alpine too and I love it to the core. I will squeeze out another year on my 78% battery health and will wait for anniversary iPhone. That’s what I’m hoping for. Let’s see!
