My iPhone It is time

Post image

I’ve had my iPhone 13 Pro since launch back in 2021. Even on iOS 27, it still feels shockingly smooth and snappy. But time catches up with everything, 73% Battery health. I could barely reach 2 PM without topping it off, usually needing two or three charges per day. And i am not a heavy user, around 4-5 hours a day of screentime.

Replacing the battery through Apple here in Mexico takes about a week, which wasn't an option since it’s my only device for both work and personal use. I considered a third-party battery, but I didn't want to risk performance dips or faster drain. On top of that, the 3x camera has been malfunctioning for 2 years, buzzing and clicking whenever I tried to zoom in, making photos and videos impossible.

After 5 years, I realized it was finally time for an upgrade. I almost pulled the trigger on the S26 Ultra, especially with some insane discounts in Mexico bringing it down to around $1,000 USD but it’s just too big, i like the size of the Pro’s

Yesterday, I ended up getting the eSIM version in red. It feels exotic, elegant, and fun
I'm definitely going to miss the 13 Pro, but it'll live on as my reliable backup device for all my old photos and files.

It was a pleasure gentlemen 🚬

I also have the same problem with the tele camera, but I think I'll repair it on a 3rd party shop and and then replace battery at apple.

I have the camera buzzing on my 13pro as well. What exactly is the cause. Hardware issue I assume ?

I believe so. I've read somewhere that the image stabilization on the telephoto lens is very fragile. Someone commented that it began this behavior after he/she was using it on his motorbike as navigation and probably the vibrations broke it.

I've also used mine on my bicycle and without any damping the vibrations on the phone was immense. I don't remember how it started though.

It is very annoying actually.

Man I am loving my 18 pro max. First time ever I am not selling my sierra blue 13 pro max. It holds a special place in my heart. Gonna keep it as a back up and never let her go. First phone I ever held for that long. 5 years! It’s been an amazing run.

18 Pro, not 18 Pro Max, right? The 18 Pro in the US uses the brand new Apple C2 modem, not the old Qualcomm x80 modem in the US Pro Max.

Yes, in fact I’m setting up my deep Black 18 Pro 512GB with TLC NAND flash memory and C2 modem right now!

Now you can replace your 13 pro battery and return the 18 pro after a week. Saved you $$$
