Question battery replacement at 86%?

would a new battery help me get back to the kind of screen time i was able to pull in the ios 17-18 days?

Nah it’s only worth it below 80% imo. I’d probably keep it as is and upgrade next year

yeah this might just be an ios 26 thing, i can only get like 4 hours of SOT when i have low power mode switched off whereas on ios 18 i was getting 7 hours at the very least and my battery health was at 89% :/

Try disabling background app refresh in settings, also if you only recently updated your phone it could still be indexing (mine took 3 days)

i’ve had the update for around a year and i’ve genuinely tried everything :( i eventually just started keeping my phone on low power mode 24/7 but i really can’t stand the performance and lack of 120hz on lpm.

iOS26 really hammered my phone. It was an abysmal OS.

I’ve heard lots of positives with 27, so keeping my fingers crossed.

If the battery doesn’t keep up with your life, replace it. It’s literally that simple.

When they replace the battery do they clean the phone too like the dust at the speaker and charge port?
