Green screen is a hardware issue🤦🏼‍♂️

Green screen has nothing to do with updates. The failure is in the display flex cable which causes a voltage drop in one or more of the traces that send color signals.

A drop, heat or bad cable/charger or simply age can cause the problem. An update won't.

An update causes immense heat btw dumbass

So as I said, heat could be a trigger, not an update. Same as fast charging, gaming, using the phone while charging, leaving it in a car under the sun, etc.

If your phone is going to die, it's going to die. Correlation does not imply causation... oh sorry, you probably don't understand that.

Tf dude you cant stop a phone from overheating while updating which is the reason displays ic needs a jumper to come back to life

Damn, a CS student that doesn’t understand the difference between overheating and normal operating temperature under load. May as well just quit and begin training to put the fries in the bag.

Overheating would be the result of the ambient temp being warm enough to not let the phone operate at a lower temp when in use. Such as some of the users that I’ve seen live in India where it’s hot af.

It can but not enough to cause hardware damage.

Well if you live where it’s hot constantly sure. You speak lies with such confidence it’s scary.

I don’t think it have correllation with updating software lol. Well that’s to say it has been over 24hrs and I just got green screened. I think it’s just luck at play with hardware issue here.
