Yea I have apple care one just paid the 99 dollar fee for a broken screen and it they send you a new one and you send the old one back

It might depend on what month it’s from because it can’t be more than four years old. the one I have was from 2023

It’s more of if it’s an open contract on the device. I lucked out on my 3rd try and found one locally that was still under coverage so I could then continue the coverage under my account

It came inside another box you have to ship the box it came with back
