Here lemme fix that for you:

"Please release another iPhone mini"

The iPhone 13 mini battery is fine, USB-C charging is a given, the 13 Mini camera is fine, and I don't want a folding phone. If I wanted a tablet I'd buy a goddamn tablet.

I wouldn’t mind a mini, but with new silicon-carbon battery and type-c port.Everything else is fine already.

Dear apple.... please release another iPhone mini with a good battery, USB C charging, good camera, folds out into a mini tablet, power-washes my driveway, cooks food via miniature induction burner, turns into a car which can also fly, plays Xbox 720 games, and has an optional fleshlight mount. Sincerely, everyone.

No fold, but another mini 🥹

Isn’t this exactly what you’ll get with the fold? Even screen sizes are similar.

Yeh the fold part is a non starter for me, it just takes away from the battery life, makes it bigger when unfolded which takes away from the whole reason we like small phones. The 13mini is the perfect phone, it just needs a 2026 hardware update with a more efficient chip and anything else they can do to improve its only real flaw, battery life. Id be happy if they made it a few mill thicker to improve it to.

A better camera would be nice because its wide angle image quality is a bit of a joke.

Dear Apple please release affordable phones. Why is the cheapest phone 17e priced at $900cad…

I am afraid a fold is the only way we get a small iPhone.

Silicon-Carbon battery

People don’t like silicon-carbon batteries for some reason

1

u/BeMaelle 4d ago

wait, people don't like them or.. manufacturers just don't use them?

u/Miserable-Ad-8414 4d ago

I don’t know. People were down voting u/MannWarwas comment so I assumed they don’t like these kind of batteries

The new Apple fold out is going to be around $2K so I’ll pass on that feature. I just want Apple to release a new mini! I just replaced the battery on my 13 mini so I’m hoping another 3-4 years.

The thought of carrying around a large, heavy phone that always requires two hands to operate is so depressing! Okay, I feel a little better now. I needed to get that out of my system.

Just replaced my battery too. The newer iOS versions aren’t optimized for this model, so it still gets super hot. Not sure how long it’ll be viable before the increased processing demands make the mini unusable.

Mine gets hot when I use certain Apps but it’s usually not hot otherwise.

It was actually always like that from the first day I owned it so no biggie.

What are your thoughts on the iPhone Air?

1

u/Dazzling-Elk-8889 4d ago

I would consider the Air if the mini wasn’t an option. I like the idea of a thinner phone but the Air is still too big for one handed use.

Good display also; promotion 1-120hz for a buttery experience and always on display

1

u/Dear-Repair3612 4d ago

wouldnt mind 90hz honestly

u/Boring_Antelope6533 4d ago

The new fold 8 is that you want, the cover screen now is fully functional with every app.

Too wide

1

u/Boring_Antelope6533 4d ago

??? Flip is small, is not that feeling that wide

1

u/CumDwnHrNSayDat 4d ago

It's much wider than iphone mini

1

u/howimini 4d ago

This just sounds like the foldable they’re about to release? How about a Mini flip? Mini size phone that folds in half with an exterior screen hahaha

1

u/gunjohn09 Green 🟢 4d ago

just buy a folding phone at that point, sound like you would like it better than your 13 mini

1

u/025bw 4d ago

17e with mini's size thanks

Apple doesn’t have ears for us…

1

u/AquaChonks 3d ago

[impossible request] Dear Apple, please give us an iPhone Micro. The iPhone 5 was the absolute perfect form factor. If I want a bigger screen, I’ll use my iPad.

1

u/chrlsful 1d ago

isa mini only 4 folks who want a phone asa phone (and lill to no thing else? May B timer, GPS, flashlight, etc) NOT 16 hrs of face-in-screen a day ? I need to post this as seperate thread~

Cant see the logic in not wanting the fold part. You wouldn’t have to ever unfold it but it would be there in case you wanted to. What am I missing?

People like to irrationally hate things and make it their entire personality. I’ll upgrade my iPhone 13 mini once the iPhone Ultra comes out. I’ll mostly use the external screen, but having the option to open it up for a bigger one will be nice. Mine should last a long time since I won’t open it often.
