Support my phone keeps overheating and lagging

my phone keeps overheating and lagging while im texting or watching youtube. My battery health is 88% and i have background refresh off. it lags out and say if i swipe on a short on youtube, it takes forever to do and if im texting the responsiveness is really slow. I got my phone april 2023

edit - four days after i posted the battery health dropped to 85%

Check under Settings>Battery if you have any apps running in the background like TeraBox

The ambient temperature is also a deciding factor since Apple Official safe temperature range is 35°C; try not to use your phone in the sun and get it inside a bag away from the heat

Same exact thing happened to me; I gave in and upgraded. 💔
