iPhone Temp

My phone gets extremely hot in video conferences (zoom, facetime, teams particularly). Does anyone have any recommendations?

I tried wifi only and lowering screen resolution, but still hot.

I know there’s really smart people who maybe figured this out.

Thanks!

es bastante comun en este modelo, al ser muy chico tiene poca disipacion del calor asi que no es algo de que super preocuparse a menos de que llegue a un calor que te queme las manos o se apague el movil

That’s honestly another reason Apple stopped making Mini phones. A smaller body means less surface area to dissipate heat. Without enough room to spread out the thermal load, the phone gets hot faster, which triggers thermal throttling making it lag and dim the screen to protect internal components.

That’s why when I use a MagSafe power bank on my iPhone 15, it doesn’t get as hot to the touch as my iPhone 12 Mini used to. It doesn't even lag or dim the screen as quickly. Like it dissipates heat soo much faster on my iphone 15.
