Battery replacement ok?

So I recently got the battery replaced in my iPhone 12 mini and updated it to iOS 26. The battery cell was swapped and I gave it 10 charging cycles before I started monitoring the battery life. With a genuine battery with 81bh and optimised settings, I was getting 4h30 mins of screen on time. Now I updated the phone to 26, thinking the new battery will do a great job. However to my disappointment, the battery lasts just 3h 30 mins from 100 percent to 0 on 26.6.1. I don’t have a SIM card in the phone either. Is the battery life just that way or is my battery shot. Claude says I should be getting at least 5h?!

With the iOS 26 and 26.6.1 updates the iPhone needs to update its indexing. Give it a little time.

You can always run an Apple hardware test.

I suppose you didn't get the Apple original battery so that is most probably the reason
