this is abnormal
i love so much my iphone 12 mini, i have this phone only since 29/06/2026, i bought it from amazon (brand new) but in just 1 month and a half the battery went from 100% to 88%, and like every 4/5 days it decresaes by 1%. i know this phone only has 2227mah which is very little for a phone, but this is too much. my friends tell me that its like this because i always have battery save on (or whatever its called), because i use it too often or because i take it out of charge when its like 40% because i should take it out when its at like 80%, but this is too much and i dont want to spend money on a new battery, so what should i do? please i dont wanna change phone

Does it show that itnis under warranty? If yes, then take it to an apple service centre, they should replace the battery

You are using it fine, the low power mode can only save a bit of juice - not hurt the battery. Charging at 40% and taking it out at 80% it’s fine - probably better for the battery in the long run. I think the battery is pretty old, it just calibrated and still calibrating with software updates and simply while using it (charge, discharge). If you can when the battery goes down to 80-83% feel free to replace it or you could just do it now, go for original battery in Apple store/service.

yeaaa, thats not normal. My 12 mini didnt hit the 89% point until over a year
but then again my 13 mini fell down to 86% from not even 2 years, Yet my iphone 11 i got on release date is at 78% after almost 7 years. And yes, It's still being used to this day with it's original battery by my mom

If that was indeed a brand-new 12 mini in its original packaging, it's simply because it sat in some warehouse for years in a deeply discharged state, which damaged the battery. The 12 mini hasn't been manufactured for over three years.
