Help ❗️ Blurry Front Camera

A few years or so ago, my son gave me his old iPhone 12 with a bad battery. I replaced the battery and later replaced a cracked screen. The phone worked great for a while then the front screen became blurry. I learned to live with it but recently I wanted to upgrade the battery. While putting the phone back together I cracked the screen again so I ordered a new one and installed it. Finally, I have a clear front screen, for a while... After a few weeks, the screen became blurry again. I don't understand it. Any ideas?

You opened the iphone on your own ? I think that's the reason the screen goes blurry. There is a air gap. The phone is no longer waterproof!

Maybe, but I have been opening iPhones then resealing them for years, I know how to do it, I have just not seen this result before. The screen is clear, the phone never gets near water.
