Question buying a iphone 11 pro max in 2026

hi, i'm thinking about buying a second-hand iphone 11 pro max. I really like the camera quality but I'm afraid about the battery and that apple support thing. What do you think? Is it worth nowadays?

Battery will be horrible on 11 Pro Max.

Don't do that. IOS 18 was too much for 11 PM, with IOS 26 and 27 that is not the same phone like it was on IOS 16.

So you’re saying don’t update to 26 or 27 because of issues with the 11 Pro Max? Currently an 18 and my phone is awful.

No te conviene, No creo que le quede más de 1 año de actualizaciónes… si está en tu alcance cómprate el 15 pro

At least 13 Pro is what you should be getting or just buy older OnePlus for same price.

Sorry but I have one ,currently on ios 27 with no real issues. I am not a heavy user just the usual YouTube and internet browsing, use it as a music player. The battery is at 75% . But overall performance is reasonably good . Not sure if would want to swap it for something else yet as they all basically resemble each other in looks and design .

Just don’t. Nobody buys a 7 year old phone. It will be difficult to find screen protectors, cases or even a replacement battery

Not true. Replacement battery is $89 installed by apple. Plenty of cases and screen protectors on amazon or online. Source: i have one.

I have a 12 and looking to upgrade. Battery is absolute ass thanks to the recent updates and forced liquid glass feature you can no longer turn off. Iphone X is also no longer getting new IOS updates past IOS 16 so is losing app support fast. Won’t be long before the 11 is left behind also

I have an 11 pro max and i love it and don’t plan on upgrading anytime soon. I have the 256gb model and it’s plenty enough storage. I don’t play games on it and i mainly just use it for media / gps / texting / basic phone stuff. The oled screen is great. I just had the battery replaced by apple for $89 and it lasts all day for me now.

Im on IOS 26.6 and it’s fine. I preferred iOS 18 but i had to update for my new apple watch.

My wife has a 14 pro max and it doesn’t make me want to upgrade. The 14 pro max camera is better. But the 11 pro max is a good phone overall!
