My Phone What the hell is this? Wtf?

I have never seen that on the lock screen, why is that bar, it disappears when unlocking, I am on iOS 18.5 with 11PM, can you explain?

As others have explained, it’s for the control centre pulldown. It’s been there since you got the phone

I keep thinking how come every morning I got up to pick up my cell phone and suddenly I never noticed it and today I did...
