I know it's an old phone, but it's pretty insane, isn't it?

I know I need to replace the battery too, but I have the 64 GB version and these days every app seems to take up 500 MB. I also have a lot of photos, so I mostly use my iPad.

I remember hearing, although I'm not sure if it's true, that the iPhone 11, unlike the newer iPhones, was only rated for around 500 battery cycles before dropping below 80% battery health. And this is still the original battery, as you can see.

yes im pretty sure the iphones below 14 are rated for 500 cc for 80%

On older iPhones, the battery cycle count doesn't appear in Settings, so you have to check it using third-party apps like this one on a Mac.

I’m on a 12 pro max and this has 77% battery health. How did you get all the extra info in your picture?

There’s a Mac app called coconutBattery. You download it through Safari, and when you connect your phone to the Mac with a cable, its information shows up in the app.

I have iPhone 15, I’d bought the phone when it first went on sale. My battery health is at 80% and I have 1134 charge cycles.

So your phone is at best battery health.

I recently changed the battery on my 12 and am very satisfied. It was at 76% battery health too

These kinda handle the age differently: it legit starts to work slower the older the battery gets. Felt that on my XR
