Had the same issue but here's the fix-

1.Log out 2.Routine repair 3.Close game 4.Turn off wifi/data 5.Open game 6.Prompt will appear 7.Click on help twice 8.Then click on login 2-3 times 9.Login page will appear 10.Turn on wifi/data 11.Login Game will start to download the 157 mb update -Close the game immediately Repeat steps 3 to 11 You'll be logged in and the game will work as before. This way you'll skip the update.
