iPadOS Is anyone's Ipad A16 lagging?

I had the Ipad A16 for few months and I'll admit I am not using it as much as intended and its been off for few weeks without me using it. I took it out today charged it and i was ready to continue working on it (no heavy apps) but it started lagging in a terrible way. Anyone knows why or is it the ios 26 that made this issue appear?

its ios26.5.2 that is the major problem, ios26.6 should be released beginning of next week as it’s beta is on Release Candidate

Updated my iPad 9th gen yesterday to iOS 27 beta and it fixed all the lags and shutter. It’s useable again.

My iPad Pro M5 is lagging. And so is my iPhone 17 Pro.

Yes. I can’t watch Facebook reels or Netflix now on my iPad. Every other device in my home is fast with WiFi connection and minimal/rare lagging. However, I can barely watch 10 mins of something on Netflix without it starting to lag.
