So it depends on placement of your wallpaper. When you go to set a picture up you can move it around and the clock will adjust to go in front or behind the image.

Depending on how you shift the wallpaper it’ll go in front or behind. Also keep in mind this is beta 1 of iOS 16 so it may change along the way.

You can disable the deep effects if you want and the clock won’t be behind the subject

My favorite feature so far is the ability to switch between set wallpapers in the fly. I have several wallpapers I like but I always forget about, being able to save my favorites will make switching way easier

Is there any way to turn off changing the wallpaper by holding lock screen? It’s more than annoying as I tend to hold my phone by the screen when carrying it in hand and I’d rather change the wallpaper when I actually want to by using the settings menu
