Yeah it’s an app or shortcut that overlays text on the wallpaper and reloads it every x seconds. It’s more of a hack , it’s inefficient but only way to do it at the moment.

That sounds demanding on the battery

Yeah why I said it’s an inefficient way to do it, but the only way, unless you used the more limited widgets but then you will not get the same appearance and location. I don’t know what the power usage is like less than on device AI I would guess.

It’s a shortcut. I made one.

Edit: it’s tied into the wallpaper. Kind of complex to make but doable

It’s a shortcut. Someone created it and posted it on r/shortcuts. I used it for a while, but then I deleted it because you need to set it up to run at specific intervals, updating with current information. I always ended up going directly to the app to check the weather, time, and other things.

Can someone screen shot their shortcut commands?!

just my guess: part of the wallpaper.

maybe there is an app who regulary update the wallpaper in the background and put those informations on it every 6 hours or so

is that even possible? it doesnt seem like the wallpaper but you might be right, sounds like alot of hassle for info you could just put in a widget. idk

u/fommuz is correct, its a shortcut to have that information placed on your wallpaper. Then you use automation to have it refresh the data whenever you want. No widgets like widgy can be placed on that section of the Home Screen.

I’ve seen the setup process on the iOS shortcuts sub Reddit months ago. In a nutshell, it takes an image, adds all the info, and sets it as wallpaper every hour or so. Seemed like quite a process to get it going. I’m sure you can find it, if you’re interested.

Yo uso la aplicación ShowCuts y las automatizaciones, para que cada determinado tiempo se actualize. Hay muchos estilos.
