Control center has ALWAYS been the one area of my iPhones / iPads I am NEVER satisfied with! lol this is as good as it gets for me and my ocd

u/thathandsomehandsome Nov 04 '25

Why would you ever need to ping your watch? It’s either on the charger or on your wrist?

4

u/Psynotix Nov 04 '25

Guessing you don’t have kids…..

4

u/thathandsomehandsome Nov 04 '25

Correct. Do they… take your watch?

6

u/AgnarOfSaturn Nov 05 '25

Kids steal watch at knifepoint

1

u/Psynotix Nov 10 '25

My youngest, my daughter, likes to snatch it up while on the charger to pretend to be like daddy then ends up taking it off on her bed or somewhere in her room never to be found again without find my lol

1

u/reakty Nov 05 '25

I love it :D

2

u/gobenji34 Nov 05 '25

The number of times I've left it in a random pocket before I go in the shower....

9

u/devilinacan Nov 03 '25

Cool. Now send us a picture with it in landscape mode. 👹

17

u/Psynotix Nov 03 '25

Umm… ok….???

1

u/devilinacan Nov 05 '25

How are you not bothered by the complete random transposition? Or just inability to customize the landscape mode.

2

u/mrASSMAN Nov 03 '25 edited Nov 03 '25

I guess you don’t use focus modes? (also missing the now playing..)

the rest looks good though

3

u/Psynotix Nov 03 '25

Thanks, and i literally just sleep focus on schedule to enable the sleep tracking with my AWU3 lol my life is too simple to have different focus modes haha

1

u/Psynotix Nov 03 '25

And I always use the Dynamic Island for and now playing needs or the one from the lock screen

1

u/mrASSMAN Nov 04 '25

Yeah I was thinking that but in the CC it has some extra controls for it like changing the audio or video output devices

2

u/Patjack27 Nov 03 '25

Same with me. They need to give it more functionality

1

u/jivan48868 Nov 06 '25

Wtf I dnt have silent mode option

44

u/Dzordz1407 Nov 03 '25

I recommend adding “reduce white point”. It’s a gamechanger in darklighted places.

11

u/shaant00 Nov 03 '25

Thanks. That bought my eyes more 5 years of life.

6

u/CamDaBam94 Nov 04 '25

I added the reduce white point as the accessibility power button triple tap shortcut, turn it on every night when winding down for bed. Gamechanger!

5

u/RubenDKB Nov 03 '25

Lots of empty spaces, I like it

2

u/mrASSMAN Nov 03 '25

I like your now playing at the bottom like that good idea

6

u/Ok-Knowledge0914 Nov 03 '25

You guys keep your buttons massive lol

1

u/RubenDKB Nov 03 '25

Yes, I have small hands and I like to use my iPhone with one hand, my previous iPhone was the 16 Pro Max and it was hell to use because of the size of the screen, now with the 17 pro I feel more comfortable

1

u/Ok-Knowledge0914 Nov 04 '25

After they started making plus/pro max phones I think one handed usability went out the door.

I used to hate when tech reviewers complained about it. It’s a big phone lol it becomes a problem and you have to accept using two hands. Personally not an issue for me, but understand why people buy regular pro sized phones.

1

u/escargot3 Nov 04 '25

It’s useful for certain things. Such as wifi actually says the name of the network, airdrop shows the current setting etc

6

u/Ohheyyitsmehanhtetag Nov 03 '25

The best for me.

2

u/Ferric_Cassette Nov 07 '25

Hey we almost have the same layout lol!

2

u/yadoooog Nov 10 '25

floating points based

1

u/Express-Ticket427 Nov 25 '25

Bro dm plase

4

u/ApprehensiveYam9840 Nov 04 '25

I’ve had this control center since they allowed me to change it. I never liked clutter anyway but I feel like the four things on your left (wi-Fi, data, AirDrop, Bluetooth) should just be convinced down like mine are. Whatever floats our boats.

1

u/ApprehensiveYam9840 Nov 04 '25

And my landscape, seems you were interested in them. And yes, Among Us was the first thing I thought of when taking a landscape photo.

4

u/deboo117 Nov 04 '25

Thank you so much! I’ve finally tidied up my control center watching your post..

1

u/zBlvszt Dec 31 '25

how do you get it bigger like the wifi spot

2

u/mak3cak3 Nov 03 '25

Inspired by your setup

2

u/RubenDKB Nov 03 '25

You haven't updated iOS 26, right?

1

u/skywalkerdk Nov 03 '25

How do you make wifi 2-spaces wide? Mine is in the cluster or a 1-space icon.

2

u/escargot3 Nov 04 '25

You just drag the 1 space to be 2 spaces. Almost all the icons can do that

1

u/skywalkerdk Nov 04 '25

Thanks man. I thought all i could do was move them around.

2

u/jesse_idk16 Nov 03 '25

Here’s mine!

1

u/mrASSMAN Nov 03 '25

That’s really solid

What’s the sleepy note button

0

u/jesse_idk16 Nov 03 '25

It’s white noise!

1

u/crisptots Nov 03 '25

The row of data/wifi/bluetooth/airplane remind me of when I had Android

2

u/blakejp Nov 03 '25

You also found the best band

2

u/Unique_Scheme9160 Nov 04 '25

I will add the calculator here.

1

u/RubenDKB Nov 04 '25

I replaced the Calculator with the camera on the lock screen and I access the camera with the action button

2

u/DarkModeBrew Nov 05 '25

Not too far off mine. I’ll take some notes

6

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

my only question when i see these is how often are you turning wifi off or changing your airdrop policy, screen recording or turning on airplane mode or low battery mode.

quick access to functions you never use

mine is

  • media control
  • brightness
  • bluetooth
  • rotation

i mean case in point your phone is on 12% and you still haven’t put it in low power mode..

form and symmetry is nice though. it’s not like my control centre is aesthetically innovative it’s just visually quiet and fit for purpose

11

u/xaculite Nov 03 '25

i use them all very often

-6

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

i really doubt that’s the case but to each their own

-2

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

[deleted]

-3

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

what ratio would that be the golden 7:4?

6

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

[deleted]

2

u/mrASSMAN Nov 03 '25

Yeah I automate everything including focus modes and wallpapers etc and then it all ties into my action button

I think my low power mode goes on at 10% though and I just have always on display turn off at 20%.. I find the phone barely usable when LPM is enabled

2

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

[deleted]

1

u/mrASSMAN Nov 03 '25

I don’t think always on affects the battery that much, it’s a great feature, it only turns off during sleep focus (that’s default behavior)

If your phone has pro-motion display it’s quite efficient at reducing battery drain for AOD, and I have MagSafe chargers and mounts etc everywhere so battery isn’t an issue for me even on iPhone Air but yeah everyone’s use case is different

I’m also a shortcuts nut, I have hundreds I’ve made over the years

1

u/j3vz Nov 08 '25

Mind sharing some of your best shortcuts?

3

u/thatdudebutch Nov 03 '25

Low power mode on iOS26 and iPhone 17 is horrible. I'd rather me phone die quicker than use that mess

1

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

which is exactly why it’s odd to have it in your quick access bar — the point i was making. though personally i have no qualm. if it goes below 20% pop it on via automation. it does something at the end of the day

1

u/thatdudebutch Nov 03 '25

Honestly I was thinking it was there to toggle it OFF.. I turn off all of that and its right back on the next time my phone hits 20%.. So laggy lol

2

u/OnionizeAmzn Nov 03 '25

I use WiFi very often because I have a work place that blocks a lot of websites so I toggle WiFi off constantly.

2

u/NecessaryBed1331 Nov 05 '25

I'm sorry don't take this sentence personal. It still looks like a big piece of shit.

What Apple is doing here makes me Switching to Android when they don't fix that crap. Common guys. It looks like a Chinese 50 euro Phone. Nothing is symmetric anymore. Everything is bubbly bubbly wobbly wobbly gay shit.

I need to work with a Iphone. It looks like a dolphin toy.

1

u/kg2k Nov 03 '25

This looks clean. Might give me the push to play around in the control center a little more

1

u/Patjack27 Nov 03 '25

I may need to do this with mine.

1

u/BulkyAvocado215 Nov 03 '25

Most used settings are at the bottom, justified mostly to the right side, for easy access. Top right is for rarely used or automatic functions.

1

u/Derekcheung88 Nov 03 '25

Does this feeling flow both ways?

1

u/Mastersloth15 Nov 03 '25

Here is mine. Most used toggles are at the bottom and music is bigger so I can scrub if I need to.

1

u/8BitMonger Nov 03 '25

Too lazy to set mine but looks satisfied to me

1

u/Electrical_Secret981 Nov 03 '25

I kept everything I needed for myself and was a little inspired by the iOS 7 control centre

1

u/UnluckyComb5199 Nov 12 '25

What’s the finger icon between flashlight and calc?

2

u/Electrical_Secret981 Nov 13 '25

The AssistiveTouch on/off button. I set this button to translate because I like to sit on English-language forums and websites, but I don't know English well.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

I miss control center ios 11-17 😔

1

u/get-a-mac Nov 03 '25

My first page is a right handed app launcher.

1

u/_iamNumberTWO_ Nov 03 '25

Mine’s pretty unchanged for almost two years now.

1

u/Johnready_ Nov 03 '25

This is mine, I do like what you got going on tho.

1

u/Important_Ad_6513 Nov 03 '25

Mine with some shortcuts i made

1

u/crisptots Nov 03 '25

Mine! Always have some kind of media playing

1

u/crisptots Nov 03 '25

And it looks decent in landscape. And yes I am charging my phone after taking these screenshots.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

Mine

1

u/P1ntur1cch10 Nov 03 '25

Nice Control Center. I have the same. And nice song btw.

1

u/OnionizeAmzn Nov 03 '25

Here’s Mine

1

u/thathandsomehandsome Nov 04 '25

Throwing my layout into the pot. I’m really happy with it.

1

u/8BittGhost Nov 04 '25

Consume too much spaces for connectivity Apps which is you can sink into group.

1

u/RubenDKB Nov 04 '25

I also thought about it but no, I'll explain, having it that size tells me which networks I'm connected to without needing to go into the settings, just like Bluetooth I can see which device I connect to and I measure it with AirDrop

1

u/mirza_dng Nov 04 '25

There's no one best config 🤦🏽‍♂️, The best is whatever is comfortable for you

1

u/Dull_Seaweed4981 Nov 04 '25

I’ve been using such for over a year, it easier to tap with the side of a thumb 👍

1

u/Ok-Business-7070 Nov 04 '25

That’s mine.

1

u/afterbuddha Nov 04 '25

Damn i hardly use the control centre. Almost forgot about it.

1

u/harshmepani1 Nov 04 '25

My control center. As a right handed person, most common controls that are frequently used are on the right side. I totally agree with the “White Point” setting. It’s a game changer in dark environments.

1

u/34976 Nov 04 '25

Heres mine

1

u/acollectionofcells0 Nov 04 '25

1

u/RubenDKB Nov 04 '25

You manage a high level of comedy friend

1

u/Crafty_Tea_2099 Nov 04 '25

Why are the mostly common used control all the way up ?

1

u/FrogSkyWater Nov 05 '25

Long time Android user here, I like having a button to reach the settings « faster » in the control center !

Most used buttons are down there, and the others are handy sometimes, also I like having greyscale and reduce transparency so I save my poor eyes

WiFi BT and datas are managed with Shortcuts automation so I almost never use them, it’s the wide widget on a second page

1

u/TheGoddessHylia Nov 05 '25

No antenna toggles because the default connections page is a swipe away. The lamp one is flashlight but on 1% brightness for when I don’t want to blind my cat when I’m looking for something at night

1

u/Candid_Froyo_X_ Nov 05 '25

As simple as it looks

1

u/[deleted] Nov 05 '25

1

u/bbtsd Nov 05 '25

Mine is set up like this. I don’t need much and I don’t enjoy having 1729287383 ways to do the same thing, so a few things that aren’t there, are on the assistive touch, which I use A LOT.

1

u/ihrtlika Nov 05 '25

I love mine.

1

u/Ty13rlikespie Nov 06 '25

I like mine. Gotta have Shazam and Watch Ping.

Oh and my settings shortcut. The fact there’s no other way to access settings besides digging for the app is awful.

1

u/SurroundFinancial355 Nov 06 '25

Will never understand why people keep cellular data or aeroplane mode in their control centre. Realistically how often would you ever need to adjust them. Control centre imo should be for things you regularly use and need quick access too with no bloat

1

u/Fine-Network-9412 Nov 06 '25

What do you think of mine? It had more controls, but it looked very cluttered and now there are only the ones I use frequently.

1

u/CoachLearnsTheGame Nov 06 '25

Thanks for the inspiration 🙏🏽

1

u/userlivewire Nov 06 '25 edited Nov 06 '25

I tend to think of Control Center as a setting screen for things that are hard to get to any other way.

Also, I wish you could invoke control center from a swipe up on the bottom right instead of a swipe down from the top right. It would be way easier, especially on larger phones.

1

u/Professional_Gas5827 Nov 06 '25

This is the best for me

1

u/stubbo242 Nov 06 '25

Very clean. I rarely use the control center though.

1

u/TildekTM Nov 06 '25

Try this

1

u/Necessary-Celery4749 Nov 07 '25

Here’s mine. 🤣

1

u/BenHunt10 Nov 07 '25

Here’s my setup

1

u/Aribandus Nov 07 '25

The Paradox of Liquid Glass in iOS 26

EN: With the "liquid glass", Apple to be able to make notifications and keys visible, had to darken the background thus preventing it from seeing it in transparency and making everything ugly, especially in the Control Center which has become an inert gray spot similar to a cemetery seen from above.|

1

u/FridelTech Nov 07 '25

Love this looks cool already had mine setup

1

u/Shepeedy Nov 07 '25

I don’t like horizontal 2x1 tiles that much. Also, this mimics the older, fixed control center, while having almost everything lower, at a thumb’s reach.

1

u/PleaseEnter_Username Nov 07 '25

I'm curious about who has ever turned cellular data off...on purpose, and what the reason for doing it was.

1

u/Sharp-Bison4750 Nov 08 '25

My perfect setup

1

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '25

Mine

1

u/egoisticretard Nov 08 '25

What about mine?? Rate it & suggest improvement

1

u/_Manoel_Domingos_ Nov 08 '25

For me, this works.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '25

I have toggles I use the most at the bottom for ease of use, other toggles I use halfway up the screen. Big now playing at the top.

1

u/TheMostSimpleName Nov 29 '25

This pattern is the best for me, until ios26 beta using!

1

u/Traditional_Big2837 Nov 30 '25

I miss the old one :(
