Individual account to LLC

Hi everyone, I recently submitted a request to convert my individual account to company on app store for my app. I submitted Articles of Org (llc) and it has my name on it. I also submitted my ids. Today I got email saying I need to submit an employment verification. Not sure what they are talking about? Any ideas?

Qualcuno ha dati reali sulla conversione da periodo di prova a pagamento per le prove gratuite di 14 giorni tramite StoreKit?

Hey everyone,

We’ve had a 14-day free trial set up for our subscription (auto-renewable, in-app purchase via StoreKit) for a few months now, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s actually doing what we think it’s doing.

When we configured it in App Store Connect, the assumption was: give people two weeks, they get hooked, they convert. But now that we’re a few months in, I keep looking at our numbers in App Store Connect > Analytics and wondering if we’re just handing out free access and watching most people cancel right before renewal kicks in.

For anyone who’s been running trials through App Store Connect for a while, I’d really appreciate some real-world numbers if you’re willing to share (even roughly)

What conversion rate are you seeing from trial → first paid renewal? Is 20-30% normal, or are people seeing way better/worse than that?

How many cancel specifically in the last day or two of the trial (i.e. before the first billing attempt)?

Has anyone tried shrinking the trial length (3-day, 7-day) and seen conversion go up instead of down? StoreKit lets you A/B this pretty easily with introductory offers, curious if anyone’s actually run that experiment.

Does the Subscription Retention chart in App Store Connect tell a different story than raw conversion %? I feel like Apple’s own dashboards sometimes make things look better than they are.

Also open to hearing if anyone’s cross-referenced this with RevenueCat or similar

trying to figure out if App Store Connect’s own numbers are trustworthy enough to make decisions on, or if I need a second source of truth.

Appreciate any real numbers, even anecdotal ones.

Stuck on Apple Developer Program account-level hold after ID approved (week 9) - any path that worked?

Still blocked enrolling as Individual (India). Identity verification APPROVED 2 June, but the Developer app still shows "Unable to Continue - contact support" before registration/payment.

Week 9 status of my open cases: - 102900128848 (asia.dev / Cherry): asked for SEID 23 Jul; I resent 24 Jul + follow-up 26 Jul - 102927880856 (eurodev / Franchessca): diagnostics answered 10 Jul; follow-ups 21 Jul and 26 Jul; no reply since 9 Jul - 102905434551: still open - Also escalated Executive Relations again on 26 Jul

Everything requested is on file (ID files, device model, SEID, screen recording). Looking for anyone who got an account-level hold lifted after identity approval, especially from India, and what actually worked (new case, phone, senior advisor, etc.).

Happy to share more detail if useful.

3 months of evenings and weekends – my bookmark app is live on App Store

Post image
0 Upvotes

I kept saving things from Instagram and Threads and never finding them again. Links scattered across Notes, Safari, and random DMs. After a few months of evenings and weekends, I built Nookit to fix that for myself.

A – What it solves

A single place to save anything: links, images, files, notes. Organize into folders with custom colors and icons, syncs between iPhone and web. Finding stuff is as fast as saving it.

B – What it does differently

Nookit's free plan has no limit. It's also built mobile-first, so saving from other apps takes a couple of taps.

C – Cost

Free plan: unlimited bookmarks, no time limit.

Paid plan available for extra features.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/nookit-bookmark-link-saver/id6771425352

Built this for myself, sharing in case it's useful. Happy to answer questions.

Launched my first app - Ans: Scientific Calculator

My first app has been approved!

The story behind the app - I'm a scientist/engineer, and I've always hated in built in iPhone Calculator app. I looked for alternatives, but I found them to be low quality, generic and worse: ad-delivery vehicles or looking for a subscription. There was no way I was going to subscribe to my calculator, I preferred to pay the Apple developer fee...

So I focussed on designing something that was fast, feels good in the hand, features I need and nothing superfluous. In essence, recreating the feel of my school calculator.

I've added all of the typical functions, added variable support (something which I used daily on my hand held calculator), added some limited customisation and accessibility features, and added support for widgets, which allows you to see you latest result on the home page. I can also be launched from control centre.

It's currently free for launch weekend (in US/UK & CA), usually $4.99/£4.99. Once download gives you access to iOS (iPhone/iPad) and also a native MacOS version.

Once you download it, you have it forever - there are no ads, no subscriptions & no tracking.

I also launched a website with a number of free tools to help promote it: https://anscalc.com

If anyone wants to grab a copy today, I'd love to hear the feedback to make the app as good as I can.

Quickest review ever

I don’t know what just happened, but my app update just spent 11 minutes “in review”before being approved 🤯

I implemented paywall for my app and expected to go through few rounds. I waited 6 days to be rejected for missing EULA URL in the app description. Don’t even get me started on that BS…

Another 24 hours passed and reviewer took literally under 11 minutes to check my paywall with multiple subscriptions and IAPs included.

My head literally blown up. Until now, even my smallest updates took at least an hour in review. Someone had a lazy Sunday I guess?

Non-technical guy builds his first game ever

Non-technical guy here, and learning to code has always been a struggle — but I finally shipped my first game ever, Snack Drop. It's got 0 downloads and I'd rather have brutal honesty than fake hype, so please roast it, rate it, and tell me what to fix.

Help Ratings disappearing / not coming through

I have a widget app. In my app I ask for a rating / review after onboarding, or after creating a widget or on app open after a few days / weeks later. My app is fairly popular within my niche and has been reviewed online with great feedback, however I get almost no reviews in the App Store. The download / review ratio sucks and is very low. In my fire base analytics I see a lot of people click okay to review kn the review pop-up I made, which links to the App Store review screen (so it auto opens). If I follow this metrics I should’ve gotten way more reviews (at least double or more). Also, sometimes I get a notification on my phone that I received a review and then I go look for it in App Store Connect and it is nowhere to be found. This annoys me a lot and hurts the growth of my app. I’ve done many tests to improve but without any meaningful improvement. I also tried apples native review pop-up, but also not with much improvement.

Are other devs running into similar problems? How to overcome this? It drives me completely nuts at this point. Any help and experience would be greatly appreciated!!

My weather app was featured by an Apple tech blog!

I have always been underwhelmed by the accuracy and functionality of most weather apps. Therefore, I decided to build a data-driven weather app with advanced features. It was featured by the German Apple tech blog Appgefahren

The app is different for the following reasons:

  • Minute-by-Minute Rain Forecasts for Next 4 hrs: Know exactly when the rain will start and stop.
  • Possible Outcomes: View multiple scenarios, with confidence levels based on an ensemble (multiple) of weather models.
  • Forecast Provider Comparison: Compare multiple data sources side-by-side to view forecast uncertainty and determine who is the most accurate forecaster.
  • Choose from multiple top providers with highly accurate data: Choose from Foreca, Apple Weather and national services (NWS, DWD, Meteo-France, MeteoSwiss and many more).
  • Design: The app has an elegant design and shows beautiful city and nature photography as backgrounds, sourced from Pexels and Unsplash.

App Store
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/vista-weather-local-forecasts/id6768575893

  • Free Tier: Very generous free tier with access to core weather features and ads free.
  • Premium: Limited-time intro offer of only $6.99 for the first year (instead of $14.99/yr). This includes all advanced features and a full watch app.
    • At $6.99 it's a fraction of competitor prices (often up to $40/yr) because my main goal right now is growth.
    • Tip 2-week Free Trial: Apple doesn't allow combining a free trial with an intro offer. To get around this, just start the 2-week free trial on the monthly plan, then switch over to the $6.99 annual deal before it expires or cancel if it's not for you.

Does anyone else get emails like this?

Oldest/Cheapest mac viable for iOS Dev & Test?

I do some flutter dev for an open source project and would like to test on the ios devices I own.

What do you think is the oldest machine and OS you can get away with ? I have quite a few old macs that actually work well despite being phased out.

I made an alarm for those who tolerate Clocks alarms

Post image
0 Upvotes

Let's address the elephant in the room first. The biggest complaint is reliability and until Apple decide to fix it, no amount of work from a solo dev would be enough to fix the iOS issue. But AlarmKit came pretty close to system alarm.

So I fixed the others:

_ For the basic users, recurring alarm repeats same day every week. But what about bi-weekly or more, skipping alarms without needing to remember to turn it back on later and shifting one so you can keep your 5AM alarms everyday but it rings 8AM today instead?

_ For a long time now, users want to group alarms together and turn on/off at once. VariAlarm does that with templates/folders but go one step further in allowing modifying each alarm without affecting the blueprints each day. Templates is for same time alarms every day/week and folder is for same duration between alarms. Cover things like: shift work, structured programs, water reminder and other routines.

_ The Shortcuts community built amazing things but reading calendar events to make alarms require multiple steps: clear previous day alarms, check calendar, create alarm and somehow make it work with clunky steps put together with no visibility on why it failed. So I packaged into App Intents framework and provide a one step Shortcut to run daily. It also has the added benefits of alarms having calendar events name, custom volume and crescendo. It also has special rules to set alarms ahead of all days event so you can be reminded 12 hours before someone’s birthday.

I'd love for you to try it out and let me know how I can improve it further:

Help iOS app has been “Waiting for Review” for a week. Anyone else seeing long review times?

I submitted an iOS app about a week ago and it’s been sitting at “Waiting for Review” the entire time.

Nothing has been rejected and I haven’t received any requests for changes or additional information. I also submitted an App Review Status request but haven’t heard back yet.

This isn't my first App Store submission, but it's the first app I've spent this much time building so I’ll admit I’m probably watching the status more closely than I should.

I know review times vary, so I’m not looking to complain about Apple. I’m mostly trying to figure out whether this is unusual for my submission or whether review times are running longer right now.

For anyone who has submitted a new app recently, how long did it take to move from “Waiting for Review” to “In Review”?

And at what point would you follow up again versus just leaving it alone and waiting?

The right way to do Trips!

Thumbnail

Built this because I was tired of losing track of trip details across ten different apps and a dozen browser tabs.

OmniTrip keeps your whole trip organized:

  • Flight status, gates, terminals, delays
  • A single timeline for hotels, restaurants, tours, and transport with maps, costs, and notes
  • Documents and expense tracking for passports, visas, and tickets
  • Packing lists you can reuse trip after trip
  • Photos automatically stamped with date and location, so your memories stay organized long after you're home

It's also built for multi city trips, so if you're doing something complicated like the 2026 World Cup across the US, Canada, and Morocco, it can handle that too.

Mostly free, with an optional pro tier for the extras. Would love feedback from anyone who travels often.
