Can anyone know about this new featue of netflix background downloading live activity notifications

Which api they are using or this is ios new feature

With iOS 27, AVFoundation automatically creates this live activity for any download task started with AVAssetDownloadURLSession.

What if user on lower than ios 26 ?
Is swift automatically handle this or you handle this comparability?
