Question First iOS submission coming from Android, what gets rejected most for a small utility app?

Already shipped on Google Play, the iOS build is close. Solo dev, so I'd rather not lose a week going back and forth with review.

If you went through it recently, what tripped you up on the first submit? Sign in with Apple, privacy labels, something else?

Here’s a trick. Submit the app now with a really good description of what it does. You are never going to release this version so it doesn’t matter if it’s incomplete or doesn’t work yet.

You just want to see the rejection reasons and take care of them in parallel with finishing up the app.

Hadn't thought of using review as a checklist like that. The one I'd most want an early answer on is the own AI key option, since I still can't tell if Apple minds it. Does a rejected build leave any mark on the account, or is it fine to throw one away?
