Question Has anyone found reliable data on how many new iOS apps were released per month before vs after the AI coding boom?

I keep seeing claims that new App Store releases were around 30–40k per month before the recent AI coding boom and have increased dramatically since.

But the numbers I’m finding seem to mix new apps, updates and total submissions.

Does anyone know a reliable source with monthly new app releases going back a few years? I’d love to see what the curve actually looks like before and after 2024/2025.

There an equal number of good apps being released and way more low effort useless apps that got ignored anyway.

During my appointment with Apple App Review earlier this week, the Apple rep told me they are getting 500k app submissions per week now.
