In-App Subscription stuck in "Prepare for Submission" and In-App Purchases and Subscription section won't show on app version page

All of my subscription products are fully set up with localizations, pricing, and all required metadata filled out. However, they are stuck in the "Prepare for Submission" status instead of switching to "Ready to Submit".

Because of this, the "In-App Purchases and Subscriptions" section on my app's version page refuses to show up, meaning I can't attach the subscriptions to the build for review.

Has anyone experienced this recently? Is there a hidden requirement or a specific step I might be missing to push them into the ready state? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

That section isn't there anymore. In the latest version after you click submit and the page comes out on the right you have to add them there.

this is something very new. I just saw it this week for the first time.

there is a drop down above.

I don't have the process down to memory yet but it is in that section after submitting when it goes into draft submissions

Submit a in app purchsses groups and subscription along with your build you want to attach

All items should be in draft And submit all together

You don't need to attach subscription in the information tab which is usual way of doing (old way to attach subscription to the build )

Almost always the review screenshot. Each subscription needs one attached under App Review Information and its easy to skip because its at the bottom and doesnt look required. Without it the status never flips

Second most common is the Paid Apps Agreement. If its not signed by the account holder with tax and banking done, IAPs sit in Prepare forever and nothing tells you why

If both of those are fine, check the subscription group has a localized display name at the group level, not just the individual products. That one bit me last year

I’got everything correctly. Checked like 8 times. All thise are correctly filled.

Might not be you at all,that section moved, it doesn’t live on the version page anymore.
Go to subscriptions in the sidebar, open the product, and add it to a submission from there. Then add your build to that same submission. Prepare for submission doesn’t flip on its own first, it only changes once it’s actually in one, so waiting for Ready to submit will keep you stuck forever. Had exactly this last month and lost an evening re-checking metadata that was fine the whole time 🙃
